Occupational Health & Safety
At M Squared Infrastructure our belief is that our workers are our most important asset and their health and safety our greatest responsibility.
Our contractors, and the public shall be given equal priority to that of our employees.
With this policy we are committed to:
- Complying with all applicable health and safety laws, regulations and standards
- Providing induction, education and ongoing training
- Maintaining relevant systems and organisational structures to support and communicate effective health and safety practices
- Ensuring that open and honest communication exists between management and our workers
- Pro-active planning of all work activities with due consideration given to implementing appropriate controls that are suitable to each given situation
- Understanding the total work process and associated health & safety risks
- Maintaining a positive safety culture; encouraging active participation, consultation and cooperation of all employees, contractors and other stakeholders and promoting and developing measures to improve health and safety at work; and
- Actively responding to and investigating all incidents, and ensuring injured workers are returned to suitable work at the earliest possible opportunity through equitable claims management and rehabilitation practices.
All workers are authorised and expected to safely stop work and immediately notify their supervisor if a task carries an unacceptable level of risk, or if an agreed Safe Work Method Statement cannot be complied with.

This level of quality is achieved through adoption of a system of procedures that reflect the competence of the Company to existing customers, potential customers, and independent auditing authorities.
Achievement of this policy involves all staff, who are individually responsible for the quality of their work, resulting in a continually improving working environment for all.
To achieve and maintain quality standards the Managing Director retains responsibility for the Quality Management System whilst routine operational activities are controlled by the Project / Site Managers.
The objectives of the Quality Management System are:
- To maintain an effective Quality Management System complying with International Standard ISO9001 (Quality Systems)
- To achieve and maintain a level of quality which enhances the Company’s reputation with customers
- To ensure compliance with relevant statutory and safety requirements
- To endeavour, at all times, to maximise customer satisfaction with the services provided by M Squared Infrastructure.
All Company Policies will be:
- Made available to all employees, subcontractors, and visitors
- Communicated to all relevant persons and made available to all interested parties; and
- Reviewed regularly by senior management to ensure it remains current and appropriate.
