The acquisition of land for a new educational institution represents a significant milestone for both current and future families in the community, addressing the needs of a growing population through the creation of a modern school facility.

A new primary school is being built in Port Melbourne, opening with space for 650 students. It will feature a 3-storey learning neighbourhood with a rooftop terrace, a 2-storey learning neighbourhood, a community hub with a gym, music room, and rooftop court, a grassed playing field, a playground, and a kindergarten.

The school is designed to accommodate up to 650 primary students.

This will be the third school established in the area, complementing South Melbourne Primary School in Montague and Port Melbourne Secondary College in Wirraway. Additionally, a kindergarten is planned to launch on the same site in Term 1 of the 2027 academic year.
