As Victoria’s pioneering educational establishment to attain net zero energy efficiency, the Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre (PICAC) sets a new benchmark for sustainable architecture.

Designed by FMSA, the Centre incorporates a passive design philosophy that optimises natural light and airflow while utilising an exceptionally insulated building structure.

Specifically designed for the plumbing sector, this facility generates all the energy it requires through on-site renewable technologies. Its passive design approach emphasises natural lighting and ventilation, complemented by a highly insulated building envelope.

This includes a focus on natural light and ventilation, and a highly insulated building fabric.

Some products featured in the design included DEEP DOWN recessed downlights, TUBE SUS linear extrusion, MRS.T + ARMY custom configuration to the lecture theatre ceiling, AMBIENT RING decorative pendants and SLIM C SM in common areas.
